RESUMO As arboviroses têm se tornado uma preocupação constante para a saúde pública. O gerenciamento do grande volume de dados gerados pelo sistema de saúde faz-se necessário para compreender melhor a dinâmica das arboviroses e apoiar políticas públicas no enfrentamento dessas doenças. Assim, a visualização de dados torna-se um recurso promissor que permite disseminar tais informações e aumentar assim a sua visibilidade e utilização. Desenvolvemos um dashboard para sistematização e visualização de dados de vigilância das arboviroses urbanas transmitidas pelo Aedes (Dengue; Zika e Chikungunya) em Minas Gerais, Brasil, de modo a favorecer sua ampla disponibilidade, acessibilidade e relevância para a tomada de decisão em saúde orientada por dados. O dashboard desenvolvido conta com quatro painéis gerenciais sendo cada uma das arboviroses estudadas, exibidas em separado, e o quarto painel geral representa as três arboviroses unificadas. ABSTRACT Arboviruses have become a constant concern for public health. The management of this large volume of data generated by the health system is necessary to better understand the dynamics of arboviruses, support public policies in the management of these diseases. Thus, data visualization becomes a promising resource that allows disseminating such information and thus increasing its visibility and use. We developed a dashboard for systematization and visualization of surveillance data on urban arboviruses transmitted by Aedes (Dengue; Zika and Chikungunya) in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in order to favor its wide availability, accessibility and relevance for data-driven decision-making in health. The developed dashboard has four management panels, each of the studied arboviruses, displayed separately, and the fourth general panel represents the three unified arboviruses. Resumo: A estratégia de produção é um padrão global de decisões e ações que define o papel, os objetivos e as atividades da produção apoiando uma estratégia de negócios. Ampliou-se para um padrão geral de decisões que determina as competências a longo prazo e suas contribuições para a estratégia global conciliando requisitos de mercado e recursos de operações. Na atualidade, a partir de toda evolução da internet e de suas tecnologias afins, há uma grande gama de dados disponibilizados nos mais diversos formatos e lugares de armazenamento. Esse volumoso conjunto de dados disponíveis, chamado de Big Data, pode dar suporte à compreensões e visões gerenciais e estratégicas de um modo interessante, eficaz e relevante, desde que se combinem alguns fatores e ferramentas. Portanto, o objetivo desse artigo é apresentar uma proposta de framework que suporte a estratégia de produção via utilização de aspectos de Big Data. O método de pesquisa foi realizado em três etapas: i) pesquisa bibliográfica em 5 passos; ii) elaboração de um framework teórico-conceitual (BD-ProdStrateg) em 5 passos; e iii) aplicação de ilustração do framework proposto (BD-ProdStrateg). A contribuição principal foi a sistematização de uma proposta utilizando-se um referencial teórico bem consolidado de autores de estratégia de produção e por outro lado o referencial mais recente acerca de Big Data e de suas possibilidades a serem exploradas. A aplicação ilustrativa gerou uma expectativa de continuidade e de busca por meios tecnológicos para se verificar em quanto tempo os principais problemas seriam solucionados e qual o grau de economia advindo dessa implantação.

Abstract: The production strategy is an overall pattern of decisions and actions that defines the role, objectives and production activities supporting a business strategy. Expanded to a general pattern of decisions determining the long-term skills and their contributions to the global strategy combining market requirements and resources. Currently, from the whole evolution of the internet and its related technologies, there are a wide range of data available in various formats and storage places. This voluminous data set available, called Big Data, can support the understandings and managerial and strategic visions in a way interesting, effective and relevant, since they combine some factors and tools. Therefore, the objective of this article is to present a proposal for a framework that supports the strategy of production via use of aspects of Big Data. The method of research was conducted in three stages: i) literature search in 5 steps; ii)elaboration of a theoretical-conceptual framework (BD-ProdStrateg) in 5 steps; and iii)application of illustration of the proposed framework (BD-ProdStrateg). The main contribution was the systematization of a proposal using a theoretical right to authors of consolidated production strategy and on the other hand the latest reference about Big Data and its possibilities to be explored. Illustrative application generated an expectation of continuity and search for technological means to check on how long the main problems would be resolved and what degree of economics from this deployment.

Abstract Purpose The purpose of this study was to use relational vision as a theoretical support for an investigation of how operational competencies are developed from the interaction of shared relational resources in the supply chain and to verify how these competencies allow the resources to be able to function, unity, integration and direction. Design/methodology/approach This multihull study was based on semi-structured interviews with 13 representatives of four dyads from companies in the steel, automotive and industrial applications, pulp processing and manufacturing and application of flexible tubes. Findings The results indicate that information, knowledge and learning are significant constructs to influence the development of operational skills in the supply chain because they represent the ability of the company to promote skills to efficiently use resources and create a barrier to imitation. Research limitations/implications There are limitations in the use of four companies from different industrial segments because it is possible to generalize the results. However, given the cross-sectional nature of the research, new studies may adopt a longitudinal approach to verify the evolution in the area of operations. Future studies may also expand the unit of analysis to understand the role of the relationship between the focus business and its strategic suppliers from the viewpoint of the suppliers. Thus, new research can be expanded to dyads, triads and business networks by investigating the various stages in the supply chain. Practical implications This study contributes to the literature and adds the dimension of relational operational skills, which is hitherto little explored in previous studies. Social implications This study contributes to the literature in the area of operations management, in collaborative relationships between buyers and sellers, focusing on the relational view of competitiveness. Originality/value The growing importance of organizations and the role of collaboration, based on mutual benefits and grouping of skills, tend to increase the competitive benefits of companies operating in this context. The management of this type of arrangement becomes a challenge for researchers, reinforcing the originality of this study.

Resumo O objetivo do artigo é propor um modelo de gestão de ciclo de vida de produtos no setor metal-mecânico. Essa proposição visa facilitar a adoção de boas práticas no setor, por meio da redução da complexidade e melhoria da assertividade das ações. Para atingir esse objetivo, foi realizado um levantamento com especialistas do setor, com o qual se obteve um total de 397 questionários. O modelo tem como foco principal o projeto de produtos verdes para apoiar a gestão da colaboração, da manufatura e do conhecimento durante a gestão do ciclo de vida de produtos, facilitando, dessa forma, a adoção de tal metodologia. O modelo foi desenvolvido utilizando-se a análise PLS (Partial Least Squares ).

Abstract The objective of the article is to propose a model for product lifecycle management in the metalworking sector. This proposal intends to facilitate the adoption of good practices in the sector, by reducing complexity and improving action assertiveness. To achieve this goal, a survey was carried out with specialists from the sector, obtaining a total of 397 questionnaires. The focus of the model is to design green products to give support to the collaboration, manufacturing and knowledge management during product lifecycle management and making it easier to adopt this methodology. The model was developed using PLS (Partial Least Squares) analysis.

Resumo A inteligência competitiva (IC) fornece inteligência estratégica para a tomada de decisão, que proporciona vantagem competitiva nas empresas, porém, sem um processo adequado não é fácil desenvolver inteligência competitiva. O presente estudo tem o objetivo de identificar quais são os processos de IC existentes na literatura, concentrando-se na produção cientifica de proposta de modelos de IC. Pretende-se atingir este objetivo por meio de uma análise bibliométrica ao longo do tempo sobre IC para identificar e analisar os modelos. Com a finalidade de identificar a literatura relevante, foram utilizados bancos de dados acadêmicos e motores de busca eletrônica. Para garantir a confiabilidade, foram utilizados apenas os artigos revisados por pares. A produção científica em torno do tema não é predominantemente feita por uma única revista ou um único porte de empresas, apresentando lacunas em alguns campos de IC em especial, a possibilidade do uso de normas que possam auxiliar os processos do ciclo de Inteligência, podendo ser uma grande oportunidade de desenvolvimento de trabalhos e pesquisas científicas. Portanto neste contexto explorado existe uma oportunidade significativa para realizar vários estudos experimentais para evoluir as soluções de práticas úteis para os analistas de IC.

Abstract Competitive intelligence (CI) provides strategic intelligence for decision making, which provides competitive advantage in business. But without a proper process is not easy to develop competitive intelligence, this study aims to identify what are the existing IC processes in the literature, focusing on the scientific production of IC models proposal. It is intended to achieve this objective through a bibliometric analysis over time on IC to identify and analyze the models. To identify the relevant literature, were used banks of academic data and electronic search engines. To ensure reliability, we used only peer-reviewed articles. A single magazine does not predominantly make the scientific literature on the theme or single-sized companies, with gaps in some IC fields in particular, the possibility of using standards that can help the processes of intelligence cycle, and may be a great opportunity to development work and scientific research. In this context explored, there is a significant opportunity to conduct several experimental studies to evolve the solutions of useful practices for CI analysts.

Resumo O processo produtivo das indústrias cada vez mais ganha importante participação na construção de benefícios competitivos às empresas. Considerando a importância da Estratégia de Produção alinhada às operações como prioridade para a conquista de resultados positivos, uma reflexão teórica por meio de pesquisa exploratória e bibliográfica busca analisar a Manufatura Enxuta como uma Estratégia viável às operações, e uma segunda etapa objetiva a identificação da Estratégia de Produção Enxuta adotada pelas empresas nos vários segmentos de atuação. A problemática está em identificar e, possivelmente, afirmar que a Manufatura Enxuta aborda e pode ser o modelo viável para a realização da Estratégia no processo de manufatura para as organizações e para as usinas de açúcar e etanol do segmento sucroenergético.

Abstract The production process of industries has been increasingly gaining an important role in building competitive benefits for companies. Considering the importance of production strategy aligned to operations as a priority for the achievement of positive results, a theoretical reflection through exploratory and bibliographic research seeks to analyze the Lean Manufacturing as a viable operations strategy; a second step aims to identify the Lean Production Strategy adopted by companies in the various segments. The problem lies in identifying and possibly stating that Lean Manufacturing approaches and it can be a viable model for the realization of strategy in the manufacturing process for organizations and sugar and ethanol plants from the sugarcane segment.

O presente trabalho discute uma proposta de melhoria nos processos de oferta e operação de serviços de tecnologia da informação (TI), sob a visão do provedor externo. Embora existam modelos do mercado para esta finalidade, a relação entre processos, ciclo de vida e as práticas da oferta e operação de serviços de TI, como também uma visão prescritiva, não tem sido objeto de pesquisa, o que o presente estudo, de natureza pesquisa-ação, busca investigar. Percebe-se no decorrer do estudo que os modelos de melhoria de processos disponíveis atendem aos fatores críticos para o sucesso de um relacionamento de outsourcing de TI. Falta, porém, integrá-los e adequá-los de forma a serem utilizados de forma efetiva. Por meio de um modelo integrado de práticas, métodos quantitativos, matrizes de relacionamentos e de três estudos de casos, algumas propostas são apresentadas e discutidas como contribuições para a gestão da oferta e operação.

This study discusses a proposal to improve the processes of IT Services' Offer and Operation, from the external provider point of view. Although there are models that serve this purpose available in the market, the relationship between processes, outsourcing life cycle, and IT Services' Offer and Operation practices as well as a prescriptive view have not been studied. Therefore, an action research was carried out to investigate these topics. It was observed that the models to improve those processes available are effective at meeting critical factors for the success of IT outsourcing relationship. Nevertheless, they must be integrated and adapted in order to be effectively used. Through an integrated model of practice, quantitative methods, relationship matrix, and three case studies, some proposals are presented and discussed as contributions to offer and operations management.

O presente artigo visa discutir as relações que podem ser estabelecidas entre a gestão da manutenção e a Engenharia de Produção. Para tanto, são apresentadas algumas atividades e características inerentes à manutenção, tais como: o planejamento, a definição do fluxo de informações, a busca da qualidade e produtividade e, por fim, os desafios que são enfrentados e o perfil do novo profissional para essa área. Finalmente, conclui-se que o modelo avaliado nada mais é do que uma extração do campo de atividades da Engenharia de Produção.

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the relationship between maintenance management and Industrial Engineering. In this purpose some activities and characteristics concerning maintenance are presented, such as planning, flow information, quality and productivity, the challenges faced and the professional's profile necessary to this area. As a conclusion, it is stated that these characteristics and activities own to the IE domain.

O presente trabalho descreve, sob a ótica gerencial, os problemas e os desafios enfrentados pelo setor de manutenção, nas empresas que operam frotas de veículos. O contexto da manutenção é caracterizado a partir da discussão de questões ligadas a: qualificação da mão-de-obra, nível de informatização, complexidade do processo decisório e necessidade de conferir qualidade e produtividade ao funcionamento do setor.

This paper describes problems and challenges concerning the maintenance area of organizations that operate vehicle fleets, from the management point of view. The maintenance context is characterized from discussions about manpower qualification, informatization level, decision making complexity and the necessities of incorporating quality and productivity into this area.
